Megan Mirmelstein is a senior International Studies major at Virginia Tech. She was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA where she is planning on returning to after graduation. She is hoping to pursue a career in Supply Chain logistics and to continue pursuing projects Internationally. She has been in IROVT since her freshman year and hopes they will continue to spread awareness across the Virginia Tech Campus. During her free time she likes hanging out with friends, playing with her dog Shiloh, and watching comedies.

Danielle Harris is a somphmore studying International Studies and Spanish. She is from Richmond, VA. She loves to run, dance, and watch football- Hokies and Philadelphia Eagles football especially. She has been with IROVT since her freshman year and loves it. She also recently created a STAND chapter on the Virginia Tech Campus. Danielle is very excited about all of IROVT's events and projects for the '08-09 year!

Liz Dehart is in her fourth semester at Virginia Tech. She is currently double majoring in International Studies and Sociology with a minor in Spanish. Her ambitions are to work for either the State Department or the United Nations. Her free time mostly consists of working at the Tech Bookstore, homework, and hanging out with friends. Liz joined IRO to become more involved at Tech as well as to get a head start in International Development and to meet all of the speakers IROVT hosts.

Carolyn is a junior International Studies student at Virginia Tech. She has always had a passion for the subject, and couldn't be more proud to be an officer in IROVT. She is looking forward to a great success at this year's Virginia Tech Model United Nations Conference. Carolyn enjoys hanging out with her friends and boyfriend, going to the movies, and working-out during her free time!

Model United Nations Coordinator Nicole Wattelet

Nicole Wattelet is a junior double majoring in Spanish and International Studies. She loves traveling, especially to Europe, and was fortunate enought to spend the past summer studying in Madrid, Spain. Nicole likes to work out, read, and spend time with her friends in her free time. She is currently preparing for the LSATS and hopes to attend Georgetown School of Law to study International Law after she graduates.

Tom was born in Guam, and then raised in Japan. He is a current freshman majoring in English, Pre-Law, and Political Science. Tom has a very avid interest in World Affairs. Tom was a member of his High School Model UN team and actually attended the Virginia Tech Model UN Conference where he learned about IROVT. He has chosen to continue pursuing Model UN at Virginia Tech.

Vice President of Fundraising Rebecca Bullard

Rebecca Bullard is a freshman at Virginia Tech with majors in Political Science and English. She is the Vice President of Fundraising for the International Relations Organization. Rebecca is a student in the University's Honors Program and writes for the International Studies newsletter. She graduated from Colonial Forge High School where she was a member of National Honor Society, Vice-President of International Thespian Society, President of Environmental Club, and Vice President of Young Democrats. During her summers, Rebecca has served as an intern at the Drug Enforcement Administration in Quantico, Virginia.

Jenny is a senior from northern Virginia. She is an International Studies and Spanish double major. She hopes to someday become a lawyer or work for the FBI or CIA. This is her second year as a member of the International Relations Organization. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends, going to the beach, and snowboarding.
